{primary} Since July 1, 2017, all Android app stores require apps to obtain a software copyright certificate.
Software Copyright Certificate (SCC) is a legal document that proves the ownership and copyright of a mobile app or software in China.
The China Software Copyright Certificate is a vital legal document issued by the Copyright Protection Center of China (CPCC) that plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the intellectual property rights of software creators and developers in China. This certificate serves as undeniable proof of copyright ownership and provides a robust legal foundation to protect software works from unauthorized use, duplication, distribution, and modification.
